Over two decades ago, I fell in love with gaming. I recall the first time I held a remote was when the Super Nintendo console was released and I had two favourite games; Super Mario World and F-Zero. As I grew up, I learned to appreciate various types of gaming systems and eventually ended up really enjoying desktop games like World or Warcraft, Starcraft II and more recently League of Legends.

I always liked playing with friends and it was no different when I was asked to try out League of Legends by a kind friend of mine who turned out to be the older brother of my S.O. My S.O. and I at the time were dating other people when we first met. But as time went by and both our romances ended, we realized that we had a lot in common. It was really quirky to find someone that liked the same quirky and unique things that you do.

I didn’t know it at first, but my S.O. would soon become someone who is one of the most important person in my life next to God and my family.
